INSTRUCTIONS FOR POCKETFOLD SUITES

For Suites with Glitter, You Will Need:
  1. Zip Dry Glue (you must use Zip Dry Brand only. Regular glue will NOT adhere to our glitter paper. 1 bottle of Zip Dry Glue will complete approximately 30-40 invitations when used correctly).
  2. Poker chips or something with a bit of weight. We've had clients use nail polish bottles, sockets, etc.
  3. Paper Clips

Note: A little of this glue goes a LONG way. Be careful not to use too much or the glue will bleed through the paper.

  1. Put a thin bead of glue on the back of the invitation. Start the thin bead 1/8”-1/4” away from the edge and go all the way around the invitation. Lightly press the invitation to the glitter mat (if you have an invitation with a second mat, you’ll glue the invitation to the paper mat first, then to the glitter mat)
  2. Lay a thin bead of glue on the back of the glitter mat and press it on the pocketfold. Lay the completed pocketfold flat. Do not stack the pocketfolds. Allow this to dry at least one hour.
  3. While your pocketfold assembly is drying, put a thin bead of glue all the way around the back of the belly tag. Press the tag to the glitter belly tag mat. Lay flat, and allow to dry 1 hour.
**Make sure to insert your cards & stamped reply envelope before you fold up your pocketfold!
  4. Once your invitations have dried, fold your pocketfold closed and wrap your glitter band around the pocketfold so the ends meet in the middle and overlap in the front. Put a paper clip on each side of the band to hold it to the pocketfold.
  5. Place a thin bead of glue in between the two belly band flaps where they meet in the middle.
  6. Put a small dot of glue across the top where the flaps meet in the center and press the belly tag/glitter mat onto the band. Make sure you don’t use so much glue that it squishes out the sides when the belly tag is pressed! This is where you'll want to use the poker chips. Put one or two poker chips on the bellytag while the assembled pieces dry
  7. Leave them to dry, flat, at least 6 hours, but overnight is even better. This will give the glue lots of time to cure.
For Suites without Glitter, You Will Need:
  1. A glue stick OR a permanent adhesive runner (tape gun).

  1. Go around the edges of the back of the invitation with the glue stick or tape gun.
  2. Flip the invitation over and adhere it to the paper mat. Repeat step 1 on the back of the paper mat and flip it over to adhere it to the pocketfold.
  3. Adhere the belly tag to the tag mat.
  4. Insert your insert cards into the pocket.
  5. Fold your pocketfold closed and wrap your paper band around the pocketfold so the ends meet in the middle and overlap in the front. Adhere the top flap to the bottom flap of the bellyband.
  6. Adhere the assembled bellytag + mat to the center of the band, where the flaps meet.
